"Astounding Vision" or "Hero"by ~ReiHikari

Hmm, that's what came up when I looked up synonyms in MS Word for Amazing Fantasy. It was either the above or something about a castle in the sky and astonishing has already been taken by Whedon for Astonishing X-Men. But I digress...

This one's a fanart of one of the characters in the 4Jackasses comic during their super hero story arc. This one is Keenan as "Hero" and his nemesis, Azraphel. I for one appreciated the nod to a classic Spidey tale so what else to do but to spoof a cover that's already been spoofed to death? Can you tell I had Bruce Timm and the Justice League toon while I was scribbling?

Done entirely in Photoshop (pen tool, etc) and a mouse. And yet another worktime/boredom creation.

Oh my gosh!!! This is fantastic! I feel a bit of residual honor as I helped to design the original superhero costumes for the characters. And I love how the sandwich is in the place of that random guy from the original picture.

Neato! Glad you liked it. Your designs are rather spiffy so I didn't want to alter them too much.

The sandwich seemed to fit more with what happened in the storyline. An alternative would have been Babs. ^_^
